Stress is a part of life, but it’s all about how we deal with it that matters. I bottled mine up and pushed myself relentlessly. Always intent on keeping everything afloat I fulfilled everyone’s needs – except my own.
It happened out of the blue five months ago after an arduous flight from the U.K where I had been visiting family. Upon arriving home I felt weak, drained of color and dragged my weary legs to bed thinking that I would be fine after a good night’s sleep.
To fill in a little background – I am 67 years old and looking back over the years my main challenges included an unhappy marriage, juggling a professional career with raising a young family and many years caring for a child with a chronic illness. Stress is a part of life, but it’s all about how we deal with it that matters. I bottled mine up and pushed myself relentlessly. Always intent on keeping everything afloat I fulfilled everyone’s needs – except my own. Rest and relaxation were for those who had time for such luxuries. Despite the odd nervous breakdown and spell of fatigue along the way my body seemed to have coped pretty well. It took a difficult divorce in 2014, the end of a more recent relationship followed by the hectic U.K. visit – and the balance was tipped.
With effective testing, analysis, ongoing support and a personalized Treatment Plan I am now on a healing path and seeing significant progress.
Needless to say, the good night’s sleep didn’t help and subsequent days saw the onset of some alarming symptoms. Hypertension, fuzzy head (brain fog), dizziness, nausea, palpitations, buzzing vibrations – it was as if my body had gone into a frenzy ! A tight ball of anxiety permeated my being and though exhausted, sleep was elusive.
So began the quest to find the source of my health issue. Research suggested Adrenal Fatigue Syndrome and this was confirmed by a holistic doctor with whom I consulted. However, after some time following his protocol nothing changed. It was whilst searching for information on adrenal insomnia that I came across Dr. Neville’s website. With growing interest I perused the content, watched the informative videos and decided to make contact.
It is now two months since my first video call with Dr. Neville, during which I was immediately impressed by his expertise, warmth and thorough approach. With effective testing, analysis, ongoing support and a personalized Treatment Plan I am now on a healing path and seeing significant progress.
I would urge anyone seeking help with an adrenal issue to contact Dr. Neville and take the first positive step towards recovery.
I would prefer not to have had to endure the distress and discomfort of the past few months. Yet in the process I have learned so much about myself and how to protect my future health and well-being.
I would urge anyone seeking help with an adrenal issue to contact Dr. Nevile and take the first positive step towards recovery.
To Dr. Neville and his diligent team I extend a heartfelt thank you.
